What’s Hot and What’s Not From November!
From Rugby World reader, Larissa Falls
Got any to add?
Autumn Internationals… The Wallaby backline, the Pacific Island performances, Scotland’s win v the Springboks, and their comeback v Wales. SBW’s offloading, Beale’s footwork, North’s try scoring debut and Ashton’s 80m try.
Chiefs… Playing a game at Mt Maunganui to highlight their link with the Bay of Plenty.
Alphonsi… The ‘Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year Award.’Superb choice!
Twickenham Transport… Free buses for the Twickenham crowd…fantastic!
Canterbury… ITM Cup winners.
England Women’s Rugby… Will be playing a double header at Twickenham in next years 6 Nations. May this be the start of a lasting legacy for all nations.
Brian Moore… A deserving winner of ‘William Hill Sports Book of the Year’ award.
Autumn Internationals… Australia’s scrum, the Springboks injury list and Scotland’s performance v NZ. Excessive ticket prices, disruptive road works and failed drug tests. Headbutts and booing the kicker.
England Change Kit…If England continue to play like they did against Australia, I may just warm to their ‘anthracite’ strip.
ERC… Fining Montpellier for fielding an alleged ‘below strength’ team in the ECC. Don’t they want to see young talent progress?
Wales… What a dismal Autumn!
